Well, here's the part where I'm supposed to sound impressive, so here goes nothing!

Hi, I'm the guy running this show. I'm a 46-year-old (yes, you read that right—I’m vintage loot!) husband and father of four wonderfully different boys. I’ve worn plenty of hats in my time: I’ve been a Cook, a Caterer, a Real Estate Agent, and now I I work in the airline industry. Through all the career changes, one thing remains constant, and as my awesome wife loves to point out, I am a complete Geek/Nerd—whichever term you like, I will wholeheartedly embrace because the fact of the matter is, I am one.

As for Anime, I found that stuff in my local movie rental store back when I was 14. I’ve been watching ever since! I have been a Crunchyroll subscriber from year one! I’ve been through all the classics like Dragon Ball Z, my Big Three (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach), and I do my best to keep up with all the new drops (often during a very necessary Latte Break)! I do my best to keep up with all the new stuff.

While I myself am not a figure hunter/collector. Two of my sons are relentless figure hunters and collectors. So, I've traded my solo questing time for co-op mode, doing my best to help them find deals and those rare, hard-to-find figures. It’s a great way to bond and make great memories!

My obsession with all things geek began early. I have my Aunt to thank for getting me into Stephen King when I was about 11, and I immediately fell down the rabbit hole. Since then, I’ve tackled everything from historical fiction to epic fantasy and science fiction. Most recently, I’ve been thoroughly enthralled with the world of LitRPG. If it has fantasy, magic or dragons I'm reading it!

This blog is my way of organizing all that enthusiasm and connecting with others who navigate that space between deep geek fandom and real-life responsibilities.
